The surgeons at Beaufort Oral Surgery enjoy full medical staff appointments with Beaufort Memorial Hospital and at the Surgery Center of Beaufort. In addition to these staff appointments, our convenient location directly across from Beaufort Memorial Hospital helps us to ensure that virtually any dental or oral and maxillofacial emergency can be managed effectively and efficiently. We try to work very closely with our patients’ medical physicians to make sure even the most medically compromised patient can be cared for in a safe and compassionate manner.
The medical facility appointments also give Beaufort Oral Surgery access to operating rooms where general anesthesia is administered by well-trained anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists. This gives us the ability to perform more complex and difficult surgeries as either an inpatient or same-day surgery (outpatient).
Beaufort Oral Surgery also participates in countywide emergency on-call responsibilities through Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department. This on-call obligation is meant to help bring our specialized training and care to the community on an emergent and urgent basis.
Beaufort Dental Study Club
Beaufort Oral Surgery manages the Beaufort Dental Study Club for local dentists. We meet several times a year and discuss current topics relevant to all aspets of today's modern dental treatments. The meetings are open to all dentists in the area. For more information, please contact our office.
